What is Henna?
- Henna is a dye made of dried ground henna leaves. It has been used for over five thousand years, by many different cultures, for many different uses: dying hair, nails and even fabric.
- Henna is most popularly used to cover hands, feet and bodies with designs ranging from simple shapes to intricate geometric patterns designed to ward off evil, promote fertility and attract good energy.Ê
- Today henna is still used for Arabic, Indian and Pakistani cultural practices AND has also become a beautiful and temporary way to tattoo and decorate the body!Ê
- It's all natural, non-toxic and can last more than a week!
- Henna goes on as a paste, let it dry and fall off on its own. The longer you can leave it on the darker the stain.
